my new steed - MTB porn

It's very nicely specced and those forks are great, a friend has the same pair.

I've sold my freeride bike cos it was costing more to run than a car. I had so many things break and go wrong (and lots of spills).

Gone old skool now and ride a hardrock with V brakes. Never lets me down but I can't ride the same terrain. Heh I'm past the uber technical stuff :)

Nice Yeti thou, they handle nice.

Cheers man.

I actually fancied those FOX 40's on thoise EVIL bikes but TBH once they were on the whole geometry looked wierd. And triuth is for full on downhill headbangin theyre great but when you have to cycle back up again. They're really not worth it. And mega mega expensive.

What freeride bike were you running that kept breaking ? And would they not replace the parts ?

It is also worth saying that yeah proper bikes do require a level of maintenance. Checking the pressure in the shocks dialling in brakes. Stuff like that once a week. But in the bike world they are highly tuned machines.

More like a trackday car rather then a Ford mundaneo :D
