My mobile is knackered - can I get a new one without signing up to a contract?

I picked up a SonyEricsson J132 the other day for just under £15 including a £10 top up. I had to pay by card or it would have been an extra tenner though.

Then simply dumped the PAYG SIM and stuck my pay monthly SIM into it. Worked fine right away as the phone was already unlocked (check this yourself before buying though). Bugger all features but the battery lasts for ages and it makes calls which is all I really need it for anyway.

Transferring photos; sounds like bluetooth dongles the best bet. You can save numbers and text messages from your phone onto the SIM card (although SIM cards can only store 99 numbers and 10 text messages IIRC).

I'm on vodafone. I'm thinking of a Nokia because I'm quite heavy-handed with phones (trans. I drop them a lot) and they are the only make I've never broken.

I was thinking of this one - it's the 2630 and is £30 through vodafone payg

Can I get it cheaper than that?

Well I got this and it's ace :) I have transferred all the photos across by bluetooth (first photos of the foal when he was born) and I have just stuck my SIM in and it works fine. I had to get it online though - they don't ever seem to have vodafone sim cards in the stupid shop in Kilburn

Ta all for advice
