I don't think you're over-reacting fwiw - one of mine is driving me bonkers lately. I swear she's actually 'in love' with me - I can't move without her shadowing me, if I'm in the kitchen she sits on the nearest available surface and reaches out to me, if I sit down she's straight up, rubbing herself over me, or (sounds weird I know) putting her 'arm' across me/holding onto me whilst staring at me - for hours. This can be quite cute, say, a few days now and again, but she's at it all the bloody time and it does piss me right off sometimes

My cat is like this with my boyfriend. She drapes herself over the keyboard when he is on the PC. The only way to get her to move is for me to come in and pretend I am going to stroke her, as she hates me and usually legs it towards the cat flap.

That's me told then.

And it's only going to get worse. She's twigged now that we're not letting her outside, and somehow, we have to get her strategically in the bedroom tomorrow AM before the removal men come, so that we don't have to leave her in her cat box while we unpack. I'm betting she'll opt to do things the hard way.

In the meantime, lots of shouting.
