I'm really sorry - it's very sad when a beloved pet dies. My girls are getting on a bit too and I know they won't be here forever.

I hope her burial brings you some comfort

well we buried her under a birch tree in Bricket Wood where I grew up. It was a nice deep hole, about 2.5 ft deep, so she should be ok. If not, well that's nature I guess. It felt like the fitting thing to do, to leave her in a beautiful place that I love.

I'm going to miss her a lot, she was a real character.

Just want to say thank you again for all the lovely posts - i couldn't get hold hold of Mr CillaB when it happened and your responses helped.
