This is assuming the nuclear nations allow a airforce war and dont nuke each other into the stone age. Hopefully this debate never make reality, on all sides the military and the goverments get inpatiente and want to end it quickly.

If they did nuke each other into the stone age I reckon it would be a soviet plane that would be first to reappear, Russia is so vast it would stand a much better chance than the highly unstable mess we call the USA

Note:Said aircraft might be manafactured in China or India, as reportedly said countries have the licence to manafacture said aircraft....
Note: Mexico is thinking about buying Su-27's for their navy, but can't raise the $240 Million needed for said aircraft & Belarus reportedly has bought 20 early model Su-30's from India for the sum of $300 Million....

Man for man the Israeli airforce is generaly acknowledged to be vastly superior to any other.

In terms of kit the US is so far ahead there is no question.

But manned airforces are on there way out. SAMs are getting better all the time and UAVs are nearing towards the point where the next fighters on order are going to be UAVs.

Until some bright spark learns to "Hack Into" the UCAV's datalink....?
The RAF did have a requirement for a UCAV to replace Tornado, as part of the FOAS (Future Operational Air Study) conceptual study for the time period 2020-2030, but the entire study was curtailed for lack of funds....
(The Study proposed that the F/A-35B become the RAF's last manned ground attack aircraft & Typhoon the last manned air superiority aircraft).
