Jeebus! I went to Mutoid Waste parties back in the day at Glastonbury but never made any of their solo efforts - could I put my name down for a PM as well please? Hopefully see some of you there!

I went to some technivals around 2000 in Europe where they had these mad max vehicles on the back of a car transporter which they then drove all round the festie - they were cool! Their sculptures are amazing. Mutoid Waste Company are brilliant but hadn't heard of them for years - I will be watching this thread like a hawk for any more news. I nearly choked on my cider when I read about the party being next weekend as I'll be in London. Does anyone know if it's going to be an outside thing? If so it might be for the best that they're moving it on a bit.

If thats the space im thinking of outside the granary building with the fountains i like it. I dont like so much the bit around the side with waitrose. You get winter fairs put on by the upper middle class hawking overpriced wine with smug looks on their ruddy jowls.

Yes its all an extended jolly in favour of King Cross real estate companies, Sadly. But Mutoid Waste were real pioneers back from the Freestonia years of the 70s. Until they were expelled from Freestonia in the late 1970s. They got involved in the early techno/party scene and deserve a penny in your pound, The promoters have got a bob or two as well. And they will splash the cash.

They're still doing stuff down here in Aus... had a chat with Robin M the other day and he's up to something ! Seems there's to be a new addition to the Mutonia Sculpture Park out at Alberrie Creek near Lake Eyre. Burnout is a fun event out there in late July ...
