Well I think the comments show how mean minded and snivelling and plain bitchy some of you can be about someone you affect to despise. Those of us for whom it is legal to date people 20 or 30 or more years younger (where did the time go?) can take heart that David is still waggling his mighty love wand and that he is attracting a fine class of followers.

The only possible conclusion here is that Blunkett is the Sid James of politics. With a better success rate. He was a crap home secretary with an awful authoritarian agenda, and he really put a scarf across the eyes of natural justice, and I do reject the politics of him and his party, but I'm glad old Sid's getting his end away.
