Moving to South West London?

when i lived there there were no pubs, just one place, mandy's wine bar - which was a fairly busy place given the lack of pubs - it was some parish law or something, i'd hope they've managed to open a pub now - i used to get a tube to putney to go out, or wimbledon, or walk to a pub, wimbledon village is walkable and earlsfield

When I was around the area there was one pub - the Grid I think? Locals said it was because the whole area was owned by some religious group (the Quakers?) who wouldn't allow any pubs. I'd love to know what the proper story is if anyone knows.

Also are the wallabies still in the back garden of a pub in Wandsworth ( near the brewery)?

You think Penge is more London than Vauxhall?

In terms of feel, to me, absolutely. Vauxhall is odd.
