You must have some kind of dodgy plug-in in there. I've never had it use that amount - or even close!
I've only got a handful of plug-ind and they're all ones bigged up on Firefox's homepage.

Weird. The only thing that consistently crashes Firefox for me is MSN Spaces pages. (Hmmm, I wonder why that is ...)

I wonder if peeps are having memory probs because they've turned off virtual memory / paging file thinking they have enough RAM? The advice is to never turn this off no matter how much RAM you have. (In fact it's best to force it to 2560MB IMO).

Shockwave and Flash could be other culprits, see that article I posted above...

Anyone know of a way to make tabs shrink rather than have that arrow thing come up, having to scroll across is becoming annoying.
Type about:config into the address bar.

When the big list of things appears, scroll down to browser.tabs.tabMinWidth.

Right click on that entry, and from the context menu select Modify.

When the dialog box appears, change the number (which should be 100) to a very small number, say 5 or 10. This number will set the minimum width of each tab (in pixels), and the smaller it is, the more tabs will appear before scrolling becomes necessary.

Once you've changed the number, restart Firefox, and that's it.
