Good call.

There can be only one. Except for the sequel. Ooh, and another one. And several series on TV. Ah, go on, have another film too. Anyone fancy a cartoon series?

Have you seen the directors cut of Highlander II?

I haven't seen it but aparently it attempts to make it a better film by removing all references to the planet Zeist. Can't be a bad thing, but still probably a crap film.

Yes, but even though it was shit it was sort of necessary, because the first one was open ended and suggested resolution. Which it did provide. It was just a shit resolution, is all.

PacificOcean - they made yet another American Pie?

Not only a prequel, but a prequel based on the material that they didn't use for the original. May be shit, I haven't seen it yet, but not necessarily unnecessary.

The first one was open-ended??? Quick recap Sparrow:
  • He came back to life
  • He can kill the machines
  • He is The One
It's about as open-ended as this:

No, it's based on the first novel (called Carlito's Way) that tells the story of his early career. The second novel (After Hours), when he tries to reform, was turned into the film (called Carlito's Way).

Yep, number 4. Wheras all the others are really quite funny. This has none of the cast from the orignal trilogy and is shockingly unfunny and reminds me of a rude episode of Saved by the Bell.

Yes, but if it has remained good while he went on to kill everything, it wouldn't have been totally pointless. I remember actually looking really forward to the second one. And then being very disapointed.

Look, I'm just trying to say that depsite it being shite, at least there was more of a rationale for having it as a sequel than some other films.

Noooo!!! Is worth it if only so it's possible to watch both back to back on a come down.

(I'm sooooo going to regret admitting that :o )

The Vigo character would scare me on a comedown.

Here's mine...
