Most recent football match you've been to

Now updated:
9th July
Maltby Main 0 Worksop Town 2

Played quite well, and Maltby have quite a nice welfare club too.

PS am wondering whether to reserect the non-league thread or start another.

I nipped down to France to watch Lens play Toulouse. Lens won 1-0. It's only 50 odd miles from Calais, has a good stadium, cheap tickets and is easy to get to.

Bognor Regis Town 0 - AFC Wimbledon 2

Goals from Sonny Farr after 10 minutes & trailist Douglas at the stroke of full time, gave the Dons a very good win against a fullish strength Bognor side who are in the Conference South, a league above us. A 12.30 ko & an afternoon of beers on the beach & paddling in the sea, made this a very enjoyable start to the football season..

Montrose 0-2 Aberdeen, on Tuesday night. Not a bad performance against a full strength Dons and the new signings looked pretty good.

Yesterday.

Folkestone 1 Gravesend 3

We played well and deserved the win.

Couple of useful new signings in Bobby Bowry and James Smith.

me too, liverpool v chelski, champions league...
definately could tell it crossed the line, from where i was sat in the lower centenary (anfield road end).

next game
leyton orient v macc town. (for some reason - it's all in a drunken haze, we've been going to leyton orients first game of the season for five years...)

Whitecaps!

On Saturday at the Swanguard Stadium (er cough), saw my first ever Vancouver Whitecaps game. They defeated Sunderland AFC 3-0.

saw villa beat man u 2-1 in the 3rd round of the fa cup last night at villa park with a 40yrd volley from patrick bugger......i was shagging the girl i fancy from behind just as it hit the back of the net whist sipping a pint of the coldest larger ever invented...

i dont care if its a fuckign dream or not i liked it!

Are you following the US Open Cup?

Just about... TV coverage is as awful as always, but the next round it should start to get interesting, Rochester v Metrostars, Chicago v New England (winner of which goes on to win the final, I reckon).

I was thinking of travelling from BC to Portland for their home tie with San Jose. Do you think tickets could be purchased on day of match?
