Morrissey Tickets on Sale Today

There's tonnes of disappointed fans (see morrissey solo website) and will be tonnes more probably on Friday when the rest get bought up in four minutes. At least I can use the phone and internet at work, I know plenty of people who can't and are taking a morning off with no guarantee of a ticket. Is it worth queuing at the box office? It's ridculous it should come to this but what can be done? How do so many touts manage it?? Are they getting backhanders from people who sell the tickets or is that not possible?

Anyway I'm braced for disappointment on Friday re a ticket for the Apollo BUT thank god I at least have a ticket for the Bridgewater concert reserved. I see it as compensation for fifteen years of missed gigs, bastard tout prices, crashed websites, and engaged phonelines.

PS) I will fuck for standing Apollo tickets should the need arise. PM for photo.

I fear you are too late, :(

I was on at 9 tying to get tickets for Reading.. no luck at all. Managed to pick one up for Oxford in the circle eventually.

it just seems such a fuck up - when hollis originally posted up his thread with the link, that website said the tickets went on sale at 9am, then early that friday morning the time changed to 8.55am - which for me was fine, I was sat at the pc primed, but not alright for those that thought 9am was the time.

my tickets arrived this morning, which made me excited, but reading that everyone else has had no luck has dampened the thrill a bit.

fucking bastard touts

£850? for fucks sake

utter cunts :(

Totally. I complained loads about the Glasto ticket thing, having to provide ID etc but at least that was fair.
Maybe they should use the same system for all high demand gigs.

Dunno.. just kept trying different venues..

Every venue I went to down the list had already gone, you must be really quick.

I'm happy for you, really I am. :p

If I ever meet one of these e-bay touts, I'm going to beat them to death with their own keyboards.

Bastards!

same here. normally i might gloat a *little* bit but it seems to have been done so unfairly this time that it would be completely out of order.

it's only out of luck that tanky started trying on ticketmaster at 8.55 rather than at 9am like they said the tickets would be available from that we managed to get ours. when the link that Hollis put up led me to ticketmaster, i saw it said 9am and thought "i'll wait until then" - by the time 9am came along - no fucking chance of getting any!!

that price is cuntish. mozza should go down to e-bay's head office and demand that any tickets on there get removed

I got standing Apollo tickets and decent Opera House tickets both from ticketmaster website which opened at five to nine and was already listing the Bridgewater as sold out at 9.02 or something. Talk about stressful, I didn't sleep last night.

Err.. the good news

extra tour date..1st May tickets on sale 9am Friday.

Err.. the bad news.

its at Ally Pally.

Got tickets for Ally Pally.

I don't mind it up there tbh. I love getting pissed outside before a gig with the brilliant views over London.

i'm trying to get tickets for the amsterdam gig. maybe the paris one too as well. but they're not even on sell yet :( i can't relax until i have the tickets...

Yay. :D I didn't know about the new date but nathansears managed to get 2 tickets for Ally Pally.

I'm so bloody happy, it was a surprise but I am feeling poorly and spotted this thread so was sulking.

Apparently I have Hollis to thank.

I love Hollis. :D
