Morrissey Roundhouse residency

just missed the last sunday tickets on ticketmaster
I got through to the "choose number of tickets stage"
this reminds me of bidding on ebay, fruitless and frustrating

Just retried : all dates it says "There are no tickets currently on sale"

Tried the ticketmaster Morrissey link anyway : "There were no tickets available that matched your request"

Roundhouse still getting me nowhere ... that litle window of hope just now when I was able to select a date, then seized up and slammed shut on me, and I'm now getting the original 'Due to the high volume of demand" message.

Thank fuck I'm working Glastonbury next year, I hate this kind of tickets fucking about bollocks :mad:

Seetickets must just have put another batch on sale, got as far as the ordering form (in an attempt to order 2 Saturday tickets), but by the time I pressed submit order, they'd all sold out again

Two glimmers of hope for you WoW -
1) Multiple applications and rejected credit card applications get put back on to the system later in the day, especially on Ticketmaster, so check back there regularly. Ticketmaster also often dribble tickets out throughout the day in any case to stop the system going down.
2) There are a lot of Morrissey tickets out there - 6 nights in a medium sized venue is more than he usually plays in London, and his popularity is, at best stable. You could have picked up tout tickets for Morrissey's UK gigs for face or less last time he was here, so anybody who has bought to punt on ebay may find demand is not what they'd imagined. You'll be able to get a ticket for face or less in the "secondary" market I reckon.

I'm giving up for now. Looks like I have a good option on a single Sunday ticket, which I'll definitely take up (thanks, kind Urbanite!)

But my hopes of getting two for Saturday or Friday are clearly minimal now (Seetickets have now corrected their availaility blip, all dates now sold out again).

If ANYONE spots a chance of getting hold of two Saturday tickets at any time, I'd be insanely grateful (rewards in beer, kisses, tokes, etc.). Please PM details to me, I am also open tp reasonable offers from any lucky Urbanite who ends up with two spare for Fri or Sat. I will respond as soon as possible, bear in mind that I'm far from permanently on Urban these days though, eg after 11am today I'll be away for the weekend til lateish Sunday.

As far as (1) goes, the later in the day Ticketmaster tix, I'm a bit fucked, cos I'm off line from 11 am today until Sunday.

But (2) provides better hope, agreed :)
 
just got to work.
roundhouse has a new front page and you can select all morrissey
dates, however once you choose a date and press continue
it doesn't go to the next page.
I've got a window open for sat and sunday.
 
SHIIT now its teklling me I've booked 4 for sat and sunday
desperately trying to remove the xtra tickets and not lose the ones I want,
 
will, I would have bought 4 for sat, and sold you 2
but I couldn't get rid of the 4 for sunday and
I couldn't afford 8 bloody morrissey tickets.
I tried to remove the sundays but the whole thing went down

I have to leave for Norfolk now, but I am in the weird position of not knowing whether my transaction to Seetickets (for 2 Friday tickets) went through or not.

Managed by some fluke 10 mins ago to get a ticket ordering window for these, submitted the order, now the order is taking for ever to confirm. I have to shut my PC down!!! :confused: :mad:

Hoping there'll be a PC or laptop in Norfolk that I can check on, hello editor ... :p

Seetickets and I are made of fail** -- so much so that being PC connection deprived all weekend, I've only just found the fail thing out for sure /... very recently got back in from a weekend in rustic parts ... ... :( :mad:

Will do the angst ridden tense single Morrissey/Smiths-fan thing on the Sunday at least ;)

... the angst levels increased massively if I haven't by then achieved tickets (x 2) for the non single thing on the Saturday .... :confused:

Good job my tension levels have declined since Friday morning. Missed this knowledge by about 20 (?) minutes ... :(
 
And in luck comes around stylee, it now seems we're sorted for two tickets for the Saturday! :)
