No, she said she 'hadn't read it' - I think she meant back then. She was going on to say it was funny, which I hope means she'd read a couple of editions prior to the interview at least.

Anyone who starts an interview with a whinge about the term Political Incorrectness being politically incorrect is a walking caricature and deserves to be thoroughly lampooned. She was an ideal choice for the programme. It wouldn't surprise me if she was picked because Simon Donald told ITN that Millie Tant really was based on her.

The thing is I was willing to laugh at her, she was a mental in her day, and was no doubt part of the group that inspired Millie Tant, but she has either calmed down - or is much cleverer than the production team thought she would be.

So "in her day" what did she do or say that makes you think she was "a mental"?

Or is this just a case of black lesbian politician must be a loony or she'd know that the only suitable place for black women is in the kitchen and that lesbians should stay in the closet unless they are making porn?

I can think of a few times when I've strongly disagreed with her, but I don't recally her ever doing or saying anything that wasn't at least reasonably sensible.
