More shoe options, what dya reckon?

I'm not a fan of DM's though marty but thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure what it is about DM's but there's something about them I just don't like.

I can't really justify £200 on a pair of desert boots though either so whoever suggested some Clarks DB's nice one cos I think I might do that.

What about these ones?

Clarks Originals Suede Desert Boots £69

I went into Clarks and the quality of their desert boots just felt bad or something. I have heard stories of the stitching coming loose and the upper coming away from the sole. Some people only recommend them for occasional use.

I was in Marks today and their own brand boot which looked like a Desert boot felt a lot stronger. Probably not available in so many colours though.

Poi E, I'd definitely recommend trying some on somewhere if you can. I'd be fairly surprised if you weren't impressed with them once you had.

You'd be kind of crazy if you bought a pair of walking boots without trying them on first.

I don't like to look of my walking boots, they were the ugliest in the shop, but easily the most comfortable for me. Walking boots and running shoes are the only times when comfort wins out over style for me :D

These any good?
CORAX 320061
The Corax from Caterpillar is a boot with a hand stained, full grain leather upper. Pretty lightweight for its size, this boot also has a nylon mesh lining and a moulded EVA midsole. There is also a moulded rubber sole

£77, i did check them out like :o

I have a pair of those DMs you posted marty, but in black.

And RS, wtf are those Vans about? Tbh if someone asked me what shoes you would buy off here it would be the £200 desert boots but the Clarks seem like a close second.

Keep checking them hun. When I see shoes/boots I like on Schuh I keep looking til they go in the sale :o

I've had about £200 of shoes/boots from there in the last year for £85
My Cats went from £90 to £20.

I'm probably not helping but I think they'd suit you.

I had some Vans very similar to those you posted originally. I bought them for a trip to Amsterdam back in 2001.

They were a bit on the heavy side due to the thick rubber sole. I don't really like the style either but they were mega cheap in some shop at around £15.

I've fallen for these trainers now but can't decide which pair I like best

(all TST from £100 - £120)

I need a new pair of hiking boots. Look like just the thing and a nice price.

Keep an eye on TK maxx then - I got an excellent pair of Brashers for £70 there not long ago. £20 cheaper than anywhere I could see online and around half the proper climbing shop prices.

They also had a lot of Raichle and Rohan boots as well, which are both decent makes.

I've always liked New Balance and these 2 styles recently caught my eye. I prefer the white ones but the red are nice too I think.
