Maybe I'll try watching it again when I'm in a better mood then. But I found it all a bit on a par with Little Britain mentality - I never rate humour that tries to shock me into laughing.

Oooh look grannies weeing themselves, Ooooh look someone writing about a peadophile... it just seems a bit trite.

I mean when it's based on those things alone with no clever twists and stuff.

Oh it's much better than Little Britain, but it's being massively overpraised on this thread.

There are some good sketches in there but there's also a lot of dross where they just go for the easy "shock" line like you say.

Aren't the DVDs eternally delayed because the creator died and there's a fuckton of licensed music on each episode?

I've rewatched it sometime last year, some bit are good, others not so much, and some did not age that well. Pretty much like any other series
