i dunno, they're just too...i dunno. too little and namby-pamby. i don't mind a little shoe, like a flat pointy pump for example, or a ballet shoe, but them up there just look too....erm, insubstantial for my liking. they get the same goat that flip-flops do. they just look like an outfit hasn't been finsihed off properly. and they also make me think of infant or junior school and you'd forgotten your PE kit and you had to choose some from out of the big bag. urgh.

it's like the old days, really.

why aren't people wearing them, too? not that i like them or wear them or anything, but it would complete the look. i can't remember the last time i saw someone wearing a pair. can you even get them anymore? you can on google!!

Always used to buy a brown pair, follow my grandad's patent recipe for softening the leather (don't ask! ), then wear them until they were scuffed to fuck, then I'd dye them black and wear them till they fell apart.

Mine are spanish leather and are chunky. I like the second pair but the first are clearly a child's shoe.
