As if I haven't already got enough reasons to not go to uni (such as the fact they expect you to work) this has gone straight to the top. I've always been a big fan of the afternoon detective series(es) but I think this is one of the best.
I think it helps that I'm a fan of detectives who solve the crimes by lookng at things in a different way to everyone else (like Sherlock Holmes or Jonathan Creek), but it is also just a damn good show.
Like the Due South comparison too; must say something about those who like a particular type of show...
i watched Barton Fink this morning - John Turturro as the screenwriter with writer's block. Was amazed to see Tony Shalhoub from Monk in it as a producer - earliest thing i've seen him in....
well, bugger me if this afternoon's (excellent) instalment of Monk didn't feature Monk's brother, Ambrose. Played by.....
