Why not join there email list? then like me, you could have been notified before anyone else, so that you can phone ICA on the very first morning they go on sale, and so you can get a lovely ticket for yourself and all your friends for the Friday night, just like me :cool:

That's what a real Mogwai fan would do :p

Guess what?

Mogwai were fucking great last night - it was probably the most mellow set I've seen them play - lots of old stuff - lots of new stuff.

And I was delighted to see that they were supported by Part Chimp, who I've never seen before, but always wanted to.

They rocked.

Alright, 'mellow' was probably a fairly inappropriate word to use.... but they did play quite a lot of their more chilled material.

Maybe they didn't want to tire themselves out seeing as they are playing every day?!

I wish I was mate. I did get a mate to come at the last minute though, so it didn't go spare. Try going down there one night, there were no touts at all and someone in there was complaining they had a spare they couldn't get rid of.

Im going to go down on thursday and see if theres any spares or touts around. Got to be worth a try I reckon...

Think yourself lucky, you wouldn't want to feel or look like I do today anyway :( Thought I'd appreciate Mogwai more if I got completely off me tits. On a school night. At my age. :D

Me too, I was at that gig, me and three mates, drove up all the way from London, got so pissed though, fell asleep as soon as got to the after party. :cool:


spent the end of there set with my ear stuck to the speaker, traveling through the universe listening to there end of set feedback. I remember the look on the face of a security man as he watched me. :D

Anyone going down to the ICA on Friday? I will be there with Patrick, Mathew, Seg, James and his Japanes wife.

Be good to see some urbanites if anyone will be there.

Cool. Barring any major mishaps I'll be there too. I'll be the skinny, early 20s white guy (hard to spot) with the skinny, ealy 20s black guy (easy peasy to spot).

Once more: Also going saturday.

(It was that album that got me into them... I'm a late developer. :) )

That was good last night. :)

Pretty much a greatest hits set too (plus all the cool new songs from Mr Beast). Plus. Closing with Fear Satan. :D

And such a tiny little venue. (In my memories it seemed a lot bigger).

Can't wait for saturday now. :D :D
