All music should have only three notes. What's the point in more anyway?
I think I feel like my grandad must have felt on hearing punk in the 1970s :D

Though I do like some of this (makes a bit more sense hearing full tracks close up than half-hearing it on some passing kid's mobile), I just feel like a lot of these tracks are kind of lazy. Just stoned on heavy skunk most likely. And I get the self-expression side, everyone's got something they want to say out loud .. but whoever feels like this music sounds, I have to say I feel sorry for them. Where's the passion? Where's the energy? Where's the music? It's like hip hop for a generation raised on Coldplay.

Honestly I keep listening to that Digdat tune and there really is (I know its a cliche) shakespearean levels of wordplay... double and triple meanings and crazy rhyme structures within a tight rhythmic form... it is just the sole subject they apply it to is selling crack and heroin and stabbing folk. Whereas shakespeare was couples trying to it together (and folk getting stabed)

I bet my man Shakespeare is bare gutted he never thought to rhyme 'stops' with 'spots'.

was just about to post an Ocean Wisdom tune...he did a free gig above the tescos by Hackney Downs station last week, I went down to see if I could get in but it was literally roadblocked with 16 year old kids necking fizzy wine so i gracefully retreated to the pub nearby.... it's their thing not mine. The tescos was covered in grafitti the next morning ha
