How can any plastic, we are out of date at point of sale digital compare to something like this? What camp are you in high tech bin it as the new model appears, or do any urbanites see the beauty in a classic camera like this. Should we not be trying to disentangle ourselves with the modern obsession with technology?
This is a deliberate troll trying to get an emotional response - it is Friday afternoon :D[/QUOTE]
My first camera was totally made out of plastic.

I think you can see why the Edsel didn't sell.
As for the folding compact cameras, perhaps it is time someone came up with a modern digital version. With some of today's faster lenses and the space for a larger sensor instead of the old 127 or 120 film it could be a winner.

Erm, I like to fantasize and speculate about cameras as much as the next person, but at the end of the day, the ideas and the resulting images are the main things, IMHO...
Edit: apologies for not reading the previous 100 posts.

With its mixture of the old style rangefinder and digital I sometimes fantasize about one of these M8's but the cost brings me back to reality![]()
Hmm, a mere three grand!
