Yes, me too. And I think there are loads more of us out there who just couldn't get into most of the lovely shoes on this thread. My feet aren't fat or swollen (and I'm sure most other people's aren't either), it's just that the bones near my toes, around the ball of the foot, are really wide; the rest of my feet have normal proportions...which makes it worse, because shoes made for wide fittings seem to assume that the whole foot is swollen, so they fit at one point and fall off everywhere else. I've resorted to buying ordinary shoes and attacking them with shoe-stretching spray and a DIY stretcher made out of bent steel tubing. After this, they sort of fit, then disintegrate pretty quickly as the leather is weakened by being stretched so much... grrr!
