Mixtape Soundclash - The Poll!

Tonight! six giants of the music forum go head to head in a mighty soundclash - each entrant has produced a mighty 45 minute mix, and you, the public, must decide which selection rules the hardest...

here's what happens:

• download all 6 mixes
• listen to them
• vote which one you prefer

pretty simple, eh? below is each mix, and a brief description... identities of the entrants and tracklists are concealed for now so people won't (hopefully) just vote for their pals - both will be revealed after the poll closes in two weeks. in the spirit of fairplay, the entrants are expected to vote for someone other than themselves - the poll is public so i can monitor this and rap knuckles if necessary...

the winner shall be crowned king of the music forum.

so, without futher ado, here we go:

mix 1: beatmatching is for losers - a smashing mashup of electronica, techno, breakcore, jungle and the like, guaranteed to blow your feeble pc speakers
mix 2: ssoouunnddccllaasshh - an incredibly funky hip-hop set, taking in LA, new york, london and manchester - nicely blended together by an expert beat scientist
mix 3: the funky shit - an essential collection of ass-wiggling funk related numbers - from northern soul to hip-house via afro-disco, this mix will have you tapping your feet on that long tube ride to work...

mix 5: can't be satisfied - rock & roll, rockabilly, psychobilly, R&B - this red hot mix has it all, and more besides.
mix 6: it's a vibratory thing - a deep and funky set of sweet, sweet house music - stick it on, feel the filters. it's all good.
