I've been listening at work and I've got just two left... it's great that the mixes are so varied - I've enjoyed all of them so far but obviously have a couple of favourites that I'll have to listen to again before making a final decision.

Having said that, I'm nowhere near making a decision of any sort, but you know, I thought I'd just needle everyone pointlessly

No mixes have jumped out as my favourites like in the first clash

Of those, two are a bit too lacking in variety, whereas the other two aren't consistent enough.

well, i could have downloaded them all, stuck them in a zip file and uploaded them somewhere, but frankly i couldn't be arsed. and only you seem to be bothered about it, so i'm glad i didn't.

you can always just listen to the urban radio station...

ok, I've voted, '39 minutes' was the clear winner for me since I cant vote for myself hehe. Nicely paced and lots of gems on there.

Good efforts all round tho, some really interesting stuff, can't wait to get the tracklists

yeah, 39 minutes is a very strong contender - the only reservation i've got is it's excursion into gabber at the end, which (speaking as a lover of gabber) jarred a little with me.

I really liked this mix too – packed full of great tunes but my only reservation was that I think there were three tracks off the most recent DJ Rupture mix – was this a coincidence? Hmmmm.

I'm no great fan of gabber either but seeing as this particular track is probably my most favouritest gabba/hardcore track ever I'll forgive it!

It's Urban's general indifference to this competition that I find most deafening, tbh. /

Only 21 people voted in the last round, and about quarter of them were the competitors themselves.

Maybe the radio streaming will improve that figure this time, we'll see...

We should have a way of logging downloads and punishing anyone who listens without voting
Although I do reckon the radio rotation will help a little.
Last time's voter turnout was a little disappointing, it must be said.
I'm having inordinate amounts of trouble choosing. I'm kind of down to a last 4. Or maybe 5. Oh dear

id like to get the radio established amongst the general users too... theres a lot of potential for future shows - own produced material shows, mixtape competitions, general mixes, plus whatever anyone else can imagine! The more listeners the merrier...

in order for this all to happen i think some inter-forum cross-posting needs to happen! we'll get there...

The rules said 45 minutes... Some of them actually are that long.
So that shaves a good couple of hours off.
