It’s possible someone was keeping her in and let her out when they saw the poster. It’s even faintly possible she was indoors all along, but unlikely as I think she would have come out to eat/use the litter tray (or I would have heard the catflap if she went in or out of it in the night). Possibly us walking around the area last night made it easier for her to find her way back.

We shall never know, as cats are damn mysterious like that. She lives to forget to put her tongue back in her mouth another day!

Aw, great news she's back. But it's details like that which make our pets so special. Mine has a little tooth which always sticks out.

Great news!

This is the time of year cats can do this. One of mine - Whiskers, barely comes-in the house ATM & can easilly stay out for a couple of days at a stretch. I can usually find her in the garden if I look hard enough, now I know where she likes to hide. Seldom goes very far.

Once the weather turns, she will plant herself in front of a fire & do her best to stay inside for as long as possible.
