I’m not cheap....

Oh, so sorry. I really thought you weren’t being seriousMate, it’s been hanging off the wall for two years. The last time I had this issue with a different plug I dragged a bloke in off the street but funnily enough I haven’t seen him around since.![]()

I've got side lights on 5A sockets. When I get round to it they will run on a ups so the lights will still work even if there's a power cut.And 5 amp sockets for lamps.
I’ve done that in my house so I can switch the lamps on via the main light switch as you enter the room.
Not ideal but pretty straightforward to fix.

Definitely don’t go twanging it about just for fun.

Double sided sticky tape.Doesn't look like you need an electrician, just a handyman/woman to attach it back on the wall.

Double sided sticky tape.![]()

Curiosity got the better of me aged about 7. The Christmas tree lights had a bayonet light plug on the end that plugged into a light fitting connected to a 13A plug. I disconnected the lights at the light fitting and was looking at the connections. It dawned on me there wasn't enough room for the light plug to go in the fitting unless the contacts were spring loaded. Cue sticking my thumb in to a live fitting to check.Never know, you might like it![]()

I can't believe you don't know a mate that couldn't sort that out as a favour. It's a simple job that would take half an hour at most
Annoyingly I doubt even hot glue would work to secure a loose wallplug in masonry. You probably could fit larger plugs and fatter screws.I actually tried supergluing it to the wall. It didn’t work.![]()
Or do what the world did before Rawl plugs. Hammer in a bit of wood and screw into that.Annoyingly I doubt even hot glue would work to secure a loose wallplug in masonry. You probably could fit larger plugs and fatter screws.
Gorilla glue might work because it expands.
Or leave them on for potential lulz.Matchsticks with the heads cut off
Could one of your boys not learn how to drill into a wall, if you don’t fancy it?I actually tried supergluing it to the wall. It didn’t work.![]()

I would try "no nails" or filler to make the rawlplugs fit - looks like there never was one top left...Use 'no nails' comes like a tube of silicon, squirt some behind and push something heavy up against it until it sets. Wipe excess that squeezes out with a damp cloth

Chase it out and put a flush fitting in. Trying to get that back on the wall will probably end up with many holes all falling into one another. OR, even easier, get some of that putty stuff that dries rock solid. Mix it up and stick in the holes that had the rawl plugs. Fill them with the putty, then push new rawl plugs in and wait for it to dry. Then just screw it back to the wall.
