Misfits

It was good last night. Its official Simon is a hotty, never seen a button down polo shirt look so damn fine. I loved it when the baby calls Nathan a prick, cant wait for the final episode. My dad absolutely loves this as well, really good entertainment.

I have been off sick today and watched this series on 4OD. really enjoyed it. Got a bit serious in the last couple though, not so much the comedy I thought it had been advertised as.

I thought a better ending would be if his battery had died as the credits rolled so he was stuck there in the dark on top of everything else...

Great series, looking forward to the next and hoping they don't fuck up the great promise shown with the first.

So why didn't Curtis just turn back time to a point before he was captured by the god botherers so he could avoid them and save Nathan? Surely that's a major plot hole - or am I missing something.

Apart from that, though, a cracking final episode and a great series.

Don't think Curtis can do it voluntarily - it happens when he's upset, and he must have not been so upset about Nathan huh?

Great actor Nathan, was really good in Red Riding too, quite versatile

I loved it loved it loved!! May i have end of series sadness too :( I used to get my train to work from the very same station that Nathan was on, ahhh Abbey Wood it smells of poo especially when the sewage works would sometimes shut down over the summer *gag*

Far too over excited about a tv show but i dont care :)

It's not like they'd become bosom pals over the course of the series.

Not bosom pals, no, but they were far from total strangers or enemies. And Nathan had just saved him and the others from a lifetime with the weird Virtue cult. In other episodes, Curtis comes across as a fairly sensitive, empathetic bloke - the big soft git goes back in time for his ex-girlfriend umpteen times just because he can't bear to see her cry.

It's one of the few instances in the series where the characters service the plot rather than the other way round as it should be - and it doesn't sit right.

True and even if Nathan saving them wasn't enough he liked Kelly and she was hysterical. Surely her crying would have been enough? My explanation is that he was just after being brainwashed so his powers hadn't switched back on.

This was what I thought. He'd just snapped out of the virtue mindset and probably didn't know what the fuck had just happened or what was going on.

In these sort of situations in fiction, especially those with time travel elements, we can turn to Basil Exposition from Austin Powers for advise:-

"I suggest you don’t worry about those things and just enjoy yourself"
