millwall - scunthorpe

well done scunthorpe. you edged it with your fantastic forward line. and apologies for some of the behaviour of our demented day trippers (probably all from kent, and don't give a fck about millwall).

thought it was a cracking game, but ultimately painful.

good luck next season, init.

Must have hurt like hell. We left it really late a few times this season. Which is hard on the old ticker and all that, but one hell of a lot better than losing games late on.

I have to admit there did seem to be a surprising number of the less pleasant "Millwall fans" heading off the train at Paddington, which isn't the ideal connection to Sarfeast Lunnon.

Best of luck next season. We are relying on "those we left behind" to stop Leeds and the McDons getting promoted next year.

you're front line was quality. sharp as knives. nearly every wall fan i've spoken to has said that was the main difference between the two sides, and that was what won it.

fck knows what it must have been to watch for a neautral fan - i was too wrapped up in it to be objective. sounds like an almight game of football?

paddington? probably something to do with West Ham. god knows. they tend to follow each other, like and like etc.

Paddington isn't anywhere near West Ham, it's the opposite side of London. More likely to be Reading. They tend to lick the arses of supposedly 'hard' clubs.

it was the best game ever!!
millwall fans seemed pretty alright to me, even got congratulated by one of them. they were just lively.

I read reports of some quite nasty incidents of Millwall fans attacking families and so on - and that was on a Millwall board.

oh ok. we were trapped in with loads of millwall on the way back to the station and it was all just talk, but i didn't see everywhere of course.

On the way back to Wembley Central there was one scuffle as a bunch of Millwall fans attacked some Scunny fans in a pub. However the police were pretty much on top of it as soon as it kicked off. On the whole it's the usual deal with Millwall, if you steer clear of the groups looking for a fight it's no problem. However it's best not to hang around too close to the ground. It's not the tiny minority of violent thugs that are the problem with Millwall, it's the larger mass who support the thugs more than they support the team.

Attendance figures for Millwall fans attending the match have just been released which amount to 1. 4,000 by train, 2. 2,000 in a stolen vehicle, 3. 600 in coaches organised by HM Prison Service and 4. 40,000 on bandwagon.
