Well done Arsenal, fine performance, As a Man Utd fan would have rather Milan made it through (simply because they are less of a threat) but in the end best team won through fair and sqaure.

You gotta love Arsenal silencing the AC Milan ultras.

A stunning and much deserved result for the Gunners against the Rossoneri. Apart from the first 15 minutes of the match Arsenal controlled the rest of the match. In terms of scoring chances, controlled tempo and posession. Earlier in the week when i heard that one of the most influential playes in the AC team, Clarence Seedorf (who the Milan badly missed) i'd told one of my younger brothers and nephew ( who are both Gooner fans btw), that their team was going to win. As long as they don't miss any scoring chances. Plus more importantly remain patient in picking off/opening the defence.

This result will surely mean the end of the road for this great Milan team of the last 5 years (who have been in 3 Euro finals in 5 years). Unless Ancellotti gets his team in 4th place in Serie A, especially since they're 5th in the standings & 4 points behind Everton's UEFA Cup opponents Fiorentina. He'll be fired, thus a clearout at the San Siro in the Summer.

I reckon IMO it's one of the best team performances from an English team in the European Cup since Man U beat Juve in the semi-final, 2nd leg back in 99.

Exactly like our players crying when we draw a game. We demand the best of attitudes and when that is missing we moan, regardless of position.

I'm actually glad of this result, if it's a choice between facing AC Milan or Arsenal in the latter stages I'd rather face Arsenal, AC always come into their own later on in the competition, was the same last year, AC just have his annoying as fuck ability to play shit right up until the semi's and final and then win it.
