Mike skinner: streetwise chav or urban legend?

A local DJ gave my mate a copy of the first record a few months before it was released, we really liked it, fresh and original, amusing and great tunes going on behind. Didn't like the second record (although I only heard the singles to be fair) but like the new single.

So I was bored of him but like the new song, where does that leave me??

Let's. Push. Things. Forward.

LMAO at that ^^^^

You really like 'When I wasn't famous'?

James Brown ıs on record as beıng proud of how often he's sampled, and why wouldn't he be?

Funny, I remember him being really annoyed with it and going postal with the lawyers - even released a record in '88 called "I'm Real" attacking people who nick his samples.

Of course, he might have changed his tune since the royalty cheques started arriving, he'd have been as relevant now as Johnny Mathis, were it not for the plundering of his beats by hip hop producers...

Well consıstency ıs not exactly what we have come to expect from JB. A frıend of mıne sat next to hım on a plane quıte recently, saıd he was drunk as a skunk--but not as drunk as hıs wıfe...
