1) 'YOu' was the royal and collective you - lumping all sorts of wierdo's together with you was expedient and I apologise for it, but there is a larger target than just you durutti. It was never intended as a criticism of just you Durutti...
2) You know I am not sure that is true either. There are a lot of people helping out the migrant working classes, not enough by a long way but some. There are many leftys who work on benefit cases of everybody as well, so welfare is an issue where your bile had better be reserved for easier targets.
As for housing, there are some leftys working on it, not enough by a long way perhaps but they do exist. The parties may not have identified a class struggle yet, but it is not to say a general movement could not develop.

There views will always be reactionary when it comes down to it.
