This was an interesting development in the states today
'Day without immigrants' protests close restaurants across the US

Theres a UK one thats been planned for weeks now, taking place on Monday, though its unlikley to be all that strikey....this time......theyre encouraging symoblic actions of all kinds
One Day Without Us - National Day of Action
    Twitter demo really (#1DayWithoutUs)

Itll be very interesting to see if this grows into something beyond a reaction to Trump, and something beyond the US. Could be focal point for other campaigns to roll into

    From the Guardian link:
"Cabello, who is helping to organize what she hopes will be a larger day without immigrants on 1 May or “May Day”, an internally recognized day of labor activism and celebration, said the purpose of the day without immigrant strikes is to “move the conversation from ‘are immigrants wanted’ to ‘are immigrants needed’”."

Could well link with the Fight for $15

This looks to be the UK version of Fightfor15 - Fast Food Rights - looking at £10. Theyre getting involved on Monday....
