Even the portayal of the "acting luvvie" was formulaic and unoriginal.

I'll grant you that, but it's not to say it wasn't "surreal".

Even surrealism can be done by numbers - just ask Dali's factory workers.

I'm afraid its true. Boosh have lost their comedy edge.
They still had moments in this series but they were few and far between.
