Middlesborough-Chelsea

Bizarre how a team can beat Arsenal 2-0, Manchester United 4-1 and Chelsea 3-0 at home can play so shite against almost everyone else.

I think you New Chelsea fans are over-estimating how much people care. At the end of the day, for all your money you've won one league and one Carling Cup. Nice one. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to win the league, but not at the price you lot have paid - it's not a worthwhile return.

Hardly seems worth crawling out of the woordwork for.

Correction:

"for all someone else's money"
"the price someone else has paid

I've not paid anything. Zenie, have you spent alot on players? No? :)

these sort of upsets often happen in the most unexpected of games

But Boro have been doing this all season. Their team only turns up for the games against big teams. They've already beaten Arsenal (OK not so difficult these days) and thrashed Man U 4-1.

PRecisely why I don't want MCLaren in charge of england. Boro suffer a similar problem to what England already suffer (only turning up for the big games). I don't want that to continue...

no, the price you've paid is losing your club.

And therein lies the reason you're a New Chelsea 'fan'.

Not sure what makes you think that but dont really give a shit seeing as you're a quick one to make judgemental comments.

No, not at all. That's happened to Man U. An atrocity - a successful and profitable club that's been stuffed. I'm not gloating, it's terrible. They've been saddled with a heap of debt they didn't need, and for no benefit other than some cocky US investor who didn't actually have any money to benefit the club. Now they have to gouge fans to pay the interest.

Us Blues, jammy gits, have been showered with cash with pretty much no detrimental affect on the club. It's all a bit abstract really, but I don't think we've "paid a price"... no way. We've lucked out. That's all.

{Addendum: Yup, I'm getting worried about Barca... :-| )
