Michelle Obama: Fashion Audit

Yes, please. I'm bored too.

Google away. I'm off to lunch :D

She wore that dress to the church service on the morning following the inauguration- its frumpilicious.

I like it. I like how she dresses for the church picnic sometimes rather than being very formal.

I'm fixated by the eyebrows, they wander around like the Thames at the start of boom . . . boom . . . boom . . Eastenders.

What I like about her from the little I've seen is that she seems to wear what SHE likes and not to worry whether other people think it's good fashion or not.

It's far more important that she does a good job as the First Lady.

I think she looked great today/tonight and I love that she wore leopard print shoes when she went to downing st.

Seeing her stood next to queenie this afternoon was hilarious. Liz is so short Michelle looked like a giant. :D

I think/hope she'll be great. She has come across really well so far and is a bloody good public speaker.

Back to the clothes though :D -I like that she's picking little known designers a lot of the time when chanel etc are begging her to wear their clothes.

Well. What on earth is going on with that cardi? I half like it. (subject to seeing the back obviously)

Sarah needs the services of Rigby and Peller, amongst other things. But I didn't start this thread to castigate women who are not fabulously stylish. I'm here to celebrate Michelle's sartorial elegance.

Oh I love me some Obama drama.

The top half of Sarah Brown first dress (the black one) has some real promise. I really like her hair.

Ive got no problem with Sarah having help with her wardrobe, after all most high profile women do. The wives of British politicians perhaps dont want to be seen as 'frivolous', but you candress well and keep your dignity.

On top of everything, again with the black hosiery.

Who. Gives. A. Flying. Fuck?

Am I the only one who thinks an obsession with "the First Lady", aka the unelected spouse of an elected representative is really quite unhealthy?

I agree with you

but having said that I do quite like this!

I am far too pimortant to read this whole thread but has Sarah Brow's brassiere been mentioned yet? Poor woman had 'double tit' :(

That cardi is positively bonkers. It looks like a cut-and-shut.
:) at cut and shut! It doesnt even look as if its done up correctly.

Its so awful, you dont even have to mention it doesnt tonally match the the skirt which must have 4 metres of gathered material in it.
