if he's on a freebie i'm happy enough with him joining, his goal record is pretty good considering he was at Newcastle. What I don't get is why people think Tevez is some great lose, he isn't, he's hardly set the world on fire for United and his first touch is pish, his distribution laboured and his goal record unimpressive to say the least.
Berbatov on the other hand has came into a team with no pre season, scored a few and made more assists than any other player in the league, yet some people are blind to his abilities cos he doesn't run around like a headless chicken like Tevez does.

Tevez made an impact coming on as a sub yes, his work rate and fight made him perfect as an impact player against tiring teams, but I'm afraid that's all he's got and why Fergie had him on the bench for the big matches, something he wasn't happy to accept.
Last season Berbatovmade more impact in getting goals and assists to win matches than Tevez.
Tevez is massively overrated.

ah so he did, that must have change din the last couple of weeks of the league, cos I remember back in April Berba was the top assister. Still second isn't too bad, and I read somewhere if they used the Ice Hockey definition of assist (y'know key pass type affair) he had nearly twice as many as any other player in the league.

It's pay as you play, meaning that if he's out half the season he won't get paid. he's still a top notch finisher when fit IMVHO.
