Michael Jackson at the O2 - July 2009

I posted somewhere (here?) that this comeback thing was a ponzi scheme.

Jacko is not a well man (body and mind) it seems so to commit to a 50 night comeback residency at the O2 is pushing it a little.
The press attention for this is not going to help at all is it?

"the delay was necessary because jacko needed more time for dress rehearsals. What? The guy hasn't done anything for about 15 years, lazy tit.

All Michael would have had to do would be walk on stage, perform 'Thriller' from start to finish then walk off before encoring with 'Don't Stop Till You Get Enough'. All the mugs who have shelled out a fortune on tickets would all be very happy and probably buy a lovely overpriced T-shirt.....

no doubt if these concerts do go ahead they instead will be inevitably subject to endless medleys, re-imaginings, theatre-style bollocks - the majority of which whilst Jackson is not on the stage...when he is on stage he'll mumble a few smothered little squealing noises, coughing and sneezing on all the standing fans and then walk off... back to the oxygen coffin".:)

Allegedly the promoters have a clause in the contact that he has to "perform" on stage for a minimum of 13 minutes per concert!

"Ever get the feeling you've been cheated" :hmm:

13 minutes of performing?

Does it stipulate what he has to perform?

He might do some impressions, or a little magic act.

Produce a 13 year old boy out of his trousers!
