Michael Crichton died today (6th nov 2008)

IMDB states his death was the 4th November...

But how sad! He sounded like a lovely guy and he was a great writer. I remember reading his profile on his website for a project at Uni and he seemed like an amazing writer - proof in Jurassic Park and ER, I guess.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but they have a corpse. I don't think they need to bother with the mosquito if they're looking for DNA.

But has anyone given any thought to what would happen if there was a power failure on the island? They could escape to the mainland! I heard Michael Crichtons have vicious bastard claws and can jump twenty feet...
