Miami vice.. not for prigs

Did anyone else find that there wasn't a character arc? At least no more than in a TV episode...

Moggy: -agreed they are his two best but the plot I'll just say I cant remember them too much...but again the design and overall "feel" was spot on, that I do remember, I have a very visual mind.

Must see them again in light of your comments....

Does it look nicen'n'stylish? Mann still doing awesome things with colour and camera?

Couldn't give a flying fuck about dialouge - I love the original series FFS - I'm more interested in the camera work and explosions...

Camera work is great, but it takes more than that to engage me for 2 and a quarter hours. It's like a very, very long advert, imho. And there weren't any good action sequences in the half that I saw.

Yes, I felt that too - however, I didn't mind it. I liked the terse tone of the film, from the way you were "dropped" into the story at the beginning to the lack of exchanges between the lead characters... I'm not sure why, I just enjoyed it. It was almost like you were watching an extra large, ultra-violent episode of a Miami Vice movie series.
