Mexico v Angola

this is what the world cup's all about - test your stamina by forcing yourself to sit through this sort of shite :)
I've not been so thrilled since 1994's hair/curtain-raiser: Germany v Bolivia.

Whoever did the schedule for this world cup needs shootin!

Why are all the best matches being shown at 2pm when everyone's in work?!

Perhaps they partly did it with those in the Far East in mind? A huge number of people are watching over here in China, and 2pm there is 9pm here, peak time for viewing.

Well when they qualify then they can start demanding silly kick off times!

come to think of it, noone has invented a trick at this world cup

in the old days, there would always be players noone had heard of playing out of their socks and doing mental tricks, usually form south america or africa.....

i can't think of any 'moments' yet

early doors i spose......

Actually its not, everyones played at least one game, would have noticed. Played something like 30 hours of football now, so unless its a player that was shagging the coaches missus its not going to happen.

wow.. "beneath monkey island".. :) made my heart jump.. nobody played that game cept me! lol :)

Mexico tried to play the England way (so far) it seemed and failed.

Will other unfancied teams now try the 5-5-0 formation in order to get a point? Another reason not to support the underdog.

I can't believe their keeper doesn't play for any club. I hope someone will sign him now! :)
Aye. The way he dealt with those diagonal balls by dithering just outside the six yard box with a question mark stencilled on his forehead was a big confidence builder :)
Did great on shots though.
