In the 80s there was a Mexican TV 6-episode serial of B. Traven's Rebellion of the Hanged shown on Channel 4. I taped it on video and still have it. Dunno if it's available on DVD or to stream now. It was well done but often pretty grim viewing. There was also a 1954 film but I've not seen that.
