İts the mind's eyes whether its closed or open! Can one really have experiences to be recorded as any relevant data? Where do you keep them. İts like keeping the emptiness in a container of emptiness and emptiness...

exactly, the space is not just inside the vase, it is everywhere, inside and outside

Then how you could ever talk about it or find yourself anywhere inside of it? Could you ever have an existence to be able to define it?

Sartre said consciosuness "is its own nothingness"

it almost seems as if consciousnesss is there for the purpose of contemplating nothingness

İt can never see itself whether to know what it is or to be able to realise its own being... İts mumbling with no ears to hear it! And no place for any data to come true!

why? It's even harder to have a serious philosophical debate there!!!!

You don't do serious philosophical debates.

You post some unsustainable bullshit, legions of posters show up to demonstrate in a variety of ways WHY it's unsustainable bullshit, then you resort to wibble, goalposting moving and downright lies.

Why bother?

well check the recent thread i started in this forum about freewill, and go back to my posts in DF older than about 9 months, which were almost entirely philosophical

They may have been technically "philosophical" but they were neither serious nor a debate. You don't debate, you can't.

Nah what he is saying is a load of bullshit that sounds vaguely like existentialism, if you really really squint your eyes.

I want to see Max and Cannythingy get really locked into the "yeh, right, but what if the blue I see isn't the SAME as the blue you see.. yeh, have you thought about THAT?" debate

philosophical bullshit though ;)

freewill is one of the most ancient philosphical debates, and there is absolutely no closure whatsoever on the issue

and imo it is the most practically relevant philosophical debate, it concerns everyone

Nope, just bullshit, I am afraid.

You're right, it's an ancient and crucial debate, it's relevant, it concerns everyone.

And you added precisely nothing with your quarter-baked wittering
