Metallica's new album: Death Magnetic

Apparently he was singing "Love is a four letter word" which doesn't sound nearly so.....hard? Is that what they were going for? Anyway, it's already the title of an old northern soul track sung by a big girly girl thing in a lovely squeaky girl voice. The plums.

Metallica (and Kings of Leon) are going to be on Jools Holland, BBC2, now and something else after.

I was about to go to bed but I'll wait a while. :)

Im finding this BBC2 programme quite interesting, theyre seemingly being quite honest.

bouncer, I've only listened to it through once but I think the general consensus is yes, an it grows on you more after 3 or 4 listens.

Definitely a grower, I'd give it a 6/10 now, leaning toward a 7. Thank god they've not pulled another St Anger! Can't wait to see them next year in the UK.

I hope it's a great album. They haven't released anything great since Master of puppets in my opinion.

Its stunning. 'Suicide and Redemption' is the best number i think, and its an instrumental. with a collapse of screaming guitars towards the end. There is much pain in this album, and you can hear it in the songs, which were dedications to people who had died, such as the overdoses of Layne Stanley, and Blind Melon's Shannon Hoon.

I think 'All Nightmare Long' shouldve been the opener, as it mistakenly appears this way on my mp3 player, and i was impressed with such an opening belter, as it reels you right in. I must say I am quite addicted to this album and listen to it at least twice a day.:)

This album has really grown on me, utterly loving it now! And agree, All Nightmare Long is my favourite tune on the album!
