Another helping of red hot DHFC action. See you all there.
The 'We've Got Phil Wilson Back' Deep South London Retirement Home Derby.
Merstam is only the other side of Croydon
should have a good turn out
Not sure what the deal is with this ? but ....
Fiddly to get to, innit?
Direct trains from London Bridge and Victoria so I'd say the opposite of fiddly really!
Not really. It means you have to go all the way into town to go back out again. That's 'fiddly' in my book.
Clapham Junction, East Croydon and Norwood Junction are less fiddly options
I recall it being quite easy to get to last season.
You're not searching for Dartford again are you? Merstham handily is in Merstham, and is easy to get to!
I can't get a train or a tube direct to any of those destinations from Brixton, so my 'fiddly' description remains, thanksverymuch.
Not sure why folks are taking such an interest, mind. It was just a minor observation not a declaration of war, or a slight on Clapton's pricing policies.
Here you go editor
Door to door in under an hour, or 60 mins exactly with only one change. Distinct lack of fiddles last time I went.
WHY'S EVERYTHING ALWAYS ABOUT CLAPTON?!!
I am my own fiddle decider thank you very much and anything that involves me going north to go south will always register on my Fiddle Index*.
(*Not to be confused with anything related to Jimmy Savile)
everyone should just cycle there
Because every mention of them gets more hits and posts on his messageboards!
Astral projection would be less damaging to the environment.
I don't think Clapton are exactly traffic magnets. At best we just get a single handbag-swivelling gobshite showing up.
I agree, the quickest way through space isn't a straight line
Although it won't top the entertainment factor of Latahs ' pure Partridge running commentary on the quality of his own driving to the Merstham v Oxford Utd FA Cup game, I shall be joining a train at East Croydon, time TBD
I don't have a car anymore, due to writing it off about two months after this incident...DON'T BE BLUE PETER!! (Needless to say I had the last laugh)
Merstham station also accepts Oyster/contactless, as does the 405 bus from Croydon to Merstham.
Can we all agree it's fiddly from Mexico so I'm excused for this evening?
I've had the hotel repainted though...
I'm going to be late but I am on my blooming way.
But factor the words " southern" and "railway " in, and a new obstacle is added
Radio commentary on the above link.
1-0 up at the half. Tomlin.
4-1 Another good win for the Pink & Blues
Seem to be hitting form at the right time, some very good headed goals tonite
nice tidy little ground, very friendly home fans, lovely April evening with a full moon,
Merstham defence never turned up - Hamlet powerful performance - great to see cameo role from Phil Wilson
Big Dulwich Hamlet turnout 150-200 and probably a majority of the 330 crowd
pleasing to see so many make the effort to support the team during these key games
Looking very strong going into the play offs
Attention seeking scum innit.
Separate names with a comma.
