That is what family entertainment is. It is meant to be bland and inoffensive to everyone. That is pretty much the definition of "Family Entertainment"

I think I watched like 1 episdoe of Robin Hood, but I will watch another episode of Merlin, so by, it is twice as good!

I wouldn't say that any of the progs mentioned were exactly works of art, but that's a bit harsh.

I quite like Torchwood. It's not Shakespeare but it's not meant to be either. It's a pleasant and half-decent hour or so of telly to me.

I liked all the previous episodes of Who, then never watched any of the Who with Tate, then on the recommendation of this board watched them all, and found out that I was right, she is so utterly shit as to ruin the entire program.

I tried to like Torchwood, but didn't really. Didn't like Primeval either for that matter.

Never been a fan of hers, either her attempts at comedy or her attempts at acting.

Still, it featured quite the cleanest medieval castle that ever existed!

It had me scratching my head, as the only gothic buildings in the UK that vaguely resemble it are the Royal Courts of Justice and Manchester Town Hall.

Quick Google reveals that our licence fees were frittered away in France at the Château de Pierrefonds - which is a complete 19th century fake built by Viollet-le-Duc
