Anyone going to be watching Merlin?

It's got Richard Wilson in it.

I like these Saturday evening family escapist things we've been getting since the relaunch of Dr Who. I hope this'll be a good one.

Bollocks :(

I'm going out and the smallest shit bag has broken the sky+ remote:mad:

Hmmm - that coffee advert bloke as Uther? Can't see it meself.

Have to say the tralior suggests some bland harry potteresque bobbins.

Would have preffered to have it rooted in celtic mythology - druids and darkness and welsh moutnains and shit like that.

I have to say we enjoyed last night's episode. It wasn't high-brow or deep; it was just fun Saturday night fluff for the family.

I watched it with my 8-year-old (the older one was out), and we thought it was good.

how scary is it? my 6 year old wanted to watch it but i wasnt sure if he might actually get a bitscared, especiallyashe'dhaveto go straight to bed after

well you say that but i saw a trailer for the harry potter film and i heard 'I'm going to kiiiilll you harrry potterrr" in a really creepy voice.
that scared me for a moment or two

we might watch it next week, if i can face the inevitable barrage of silly questions 'mummy, whats a wizard?' 'mummy what is sorcery?' 'mummy whats a plot?' etc
