Men's jeans from the high street?

Try H&M, they're well cheap, often they have deals like 2 for £30 on. I wear em for work and cycling to work, that way if I have an off and they get ripped I'm not arsed.

Also Carhartt don't have to be £70, online easy to get em for £40. Make sure it's somewhere that does free returns and order a few to make sure you get the right fit.

My husband wears M&S jeans, they're poorly fitting, Simon Cowell type jeans, awful.

Where's good to get decent jeans for a 40 year old with a waist size to match and a peachy bum? [emoji1]

That's exactly the problem, right there. 'They seem to fit ok' is not a glowing recommendation for a pair of jeans. A pair of slippers or pyjamas, maybe.
No, I am happy with them, they fit me.

I looked in all sorts of high street stores but most did not even have jeans in my waist size and their prices were massive, then I went to M&S and the assistant there measured me and gave me a selection to try of which the ones I chose I liked a lot and were a fraction of the price of the high street.

Jeanstore.co.uk go to a high street shop get your size and order from there.501's about £45.

506s were always my fave, but they've discontinued them.
I found an almost brand new pair in a charity shop about a year ago for £8 (about a tenth of their rrp) and I love them. I'm surprised to hear they'd discontinued them - I was in a shop recently that had some in stock. There's plenty on ebay too.

They still have them on the Levis website. Blagsta why did you think they'd been discontinued?

Uniqlo - some decent quality stuff in there these days - good range of fits and sizes - £30-45 mark.

Uniqlo for decent. H&M for "it'll do". The H&M jeans are not amazing quality but they look and fit nice, and they're so cheap you won't care that they don't last.

This. Also, primark. So cheap who cares if they only last 6 months.

If he's an odd shape, he's probably best buying jeans that fit him on the waist & arse, and getting them shortened I'd have thought?

I think you're right but I bet he won't. He'll massively object to paying for jeans then paying again for alterations. [emoji35] I'll drag him to Gunwharf Quays as they've got a Levis outlet plus loads of other shops. He can try on and buy online. Some shops are ok for length.

It sounds like I'm trying to dress him up now but I'm not! He's got quite low self esteem and I know he feels better when he's got some decent clothes but he never wants to buy any. [emoji20]
It's the same with his hair, he never goes to the barber but when he does he's strutting round and checking himself out in windows.

shame he won't give it a go, it'd open his options up massively. I think uniqlo have a free alteration service (they certainly used to) - dunno what their sizes go up to though.

Bournemouth. [emoji20] I looked at uniqlo but unless we get to London he'll have to order online. He might, we'll see how we get on at the outlet places. Cheers. [emoji4]
