No they're fucking horrible, those pointy shoes that look like youre walking around with sharpened kayaks on your feet are a Russian/East European thing, an Uzbek got quite upset with me a couple of weeks ago when I shared my view on them with him

they call them chukka boots for some reason, they are better than desert boots imo, better grip in wet conditions, I have nearly come a cropper in desert boots in wet conditions

They look like they came from Clark's. They're the kind of shoes you get beaten up for wearing in the playground.
