Men - how do you keep your legs warm??

No wonder Paxo wrote in about those! They ARE saggy.

The black merino wool ones are weird

Long johns in the UK? Maybe in the North or Scotland where it's actually fucking cold at the moment. You live in London and wear long johns under yer jeans, unless you're on a building site all day or something, and you're more of a jessie than Mr No Balls in that pic.

ooh you're *such* a hard man.

nowt wrong with wrapping up nice and toasty

My mum bought me a pair of long johns about a month ago and I like them so much, I've never taken them off since, apart from when I'm having a bath, but then they go straight back on.

How the fuck does a glove make you claustrophic Filter?

Ooh, it's on my hand. It's all around me and closing me in its gloveliness. AARGH

:D

Nope. Wrysmile is constantly on at me to get a beanie hat or similar, and I refuse on the grounds that I don't like hats that much (my head gets really hot and itchy really quickly), plus it's not that cold in London yet. She can't help but complain about the cold, she's from Queensland where they complain it's cold if it drops below 20 or the wind gets up to more than 5mph, but FFS, I remember being a teen and hanging out (well walking around) my home town when it was dropping to -3 or -4.

This presumes it's not windy tho, or when I go skiiing.

I don't wear it cos I get really hot and uncomfortable with lots of layers unless it's really, really cold. I'm cold for about 5 minutes when stepping outside, but a brisk pace of walking soon sorts me out; plus I have a puffa jacket that's more like a 30 tog duvet...

Two pairs of trousers? No bleeding way.

I'm an indoors working type in London, not a lumberjack in the frozen wastelands of Antarctica. I am also not infirm or elderly, nor have legs like twiglets.

Maybe it's cos he doesn't have any body fat :o

I really really feel the cold, guess some people do more than others.

I just wear jeans... it's not that cold.

How much time are you actually outside though? I imagine you go from public transport to office, back on the train and then home? :)

classic :D

Jeans or decent lined trousers are fine.

When I used to work on a market stall, I used to wear womens tights under my jeans in the winter :D:o

All wearers of long johns have genitals based on those of mannequins.

See?

yes, of course they do.

i learnt long ago that the vast majority of posters on urban are wrong about *anything* to do with men's clothing so all these negative comments about long johns can be safely filed under twaddle.
