As you're nothing but a common troll on this issue, I can probably safely ignore your posts from now on. Let me know if you've got anything of substance to say.

If you want everyone to know about your stance on eating meat and try to convert people... dont just de-rail a thread start (another) one and the people that are intrested in being converted will join in.

You shouldn't preach like this because you get ignored like those nutters on the street that should at people about god.

Edit: Now back to the thread. There's a butchers in Gillingham of all places where you can get Zebra meat, ostrich meat, kangaroo meat, crock meat.

It looks really interesting but I need to find a recipe to cook with that type of meat first. Stews are always a good option. That's the thing about unfamiliar flavours, you don't know what they taste like.

I've eaten llama and alpaca - okay bit like tough veal. They do a sort of schnitzel with it.

Also guinea pig - which is nice but there isn't much meat on one.

I'm a bit unadventurous tbh - I've never eaten goat or rabbit.

I've eaten white lab rat, my mate breeds them for snake food and we were stoned and there were 100s in his freezer so we stewed them like lamb

Not sure if it was are cooking or the rats but it was pretty rank and you get fuck all meat off rats

FFS, AnnMarie and subversplat really are winning hearts and minds here aren't they, particularly on a thread called 'Meat mmmmm'

Nice work folks, we always needed a patronising pair of twats moralising on here. Thanks for proving the pious, unreasonable hair-trigger veggie stereotype is alive and well.

I don't really count rabbit, hare, venison or boar as particularly unusual meats although I don't eat them as often as I would like, game not being particularly common in Brixton.

I have cooked and eaten something called a grass-cutter, which is a West African rodent related to a porcupine. It was not unlike rabbit.

I've had rabbit. Apart from that the most adventorous I've tried is frog's legs.
I've had loads of rabbit cos me dad used to breed them when I was a kid. I fed them, watered them, they were looked after really well, and me dad killed them very quickly - clean wring of the neck. Rabbit's a nice meat. Frogs legs aren't as nice
